Nunatsiavut Government: Masks required to be worn in indoor public spaces

The Nunatsiavut Government is advising Beneficiaries of the Labrador Inuit Land Claims Agreement that, as per the directive of the provincial Chief Medical Officer of Health, masks must be worn in all indoor public spaces, effective 12:01 a.m., September 18.

Masks will be required in common areas of all Nunatsiavut Government offices that are accessible to the public.

The Nunatsiavut Government continues to encourage all residents of the Labrador Inuit Settlement Area to adhere to public health protocols to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 and its variants of concern.
