NU Government: Call for Proposals – Food Security Initiatives

The Nunavut Food Security Coalition is now accepting funding proposals for projects addressing food security in Nunavut for the fiscal year 2019-2020.
Non-profit organizations, societies and municipal organizations are encouraged to apply for funding for projects that:

  • contribute to the development and/or continuation of a food security project;
  • aim to increase the ability of Nunavummiut to improve their own food security through life and food skills development; and
  • reduce barriers to food access.

The deadline to apply is March 25, 2019, at 5 p.m. (EDT).

The Nunavut Food Security Coalition is a collaborative group comprised of Government of Nunavut departments, Inuit organizations, non-governmental organizations and the private sector, working together to improve food security in Nunavut.
