Province has ‘revised’ notification timelines

Sault Area Hospital continues to wait for a response from the province on the facility’s mid-May bid to form an Ontario Health Team for Algoma.
Initially, the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care indicated it would notify the first teams being invited to continue to develop a full application on June 3.
However, timelines were “revised,” said Brandy Sharp Young, SAH manager of communications and volunteer resources.
On June 7, the ministry “acknowledged receipt of our self-assessment” and indicated there would be “further communication” in late June or early July, she added.
