Nipissing FN: Precautionary Boil Water Advisory for Garden Village

June 20, 2023, 2:00 p.m. – The Water Treatment Plant will be completely shut down at 2:10 p.m. for approximately an hour while the team works on repairs. If samples come back with acceptable results, we are hopeful that the precautionary boil water advisory could be lifted on Thursday, June 22.

June 20, 2023 – The Water Treatment Plant Operators have informed us that a loss in pressure has occurred. As per the latest edition of the Guidelines for Canadian Drinking Water Quality, a precautionary boil water advisory is in effect until such time that two consecutive samples can be taken and tested with acceptable results.

This Precautionary Boil Water Advisory is effective immediately and will remain until the results of further water samples indicate that the water is safe to drink.

During this time, if you have discoloured water, run the water to flush the lines in your home. Should you have any questions on the above, please contact:
