Press Release
November 3, 2020
Nipissing First Nation is taking a phased approach to restoring business operations to mitigate risks as the COVID-19 pandemic continues to evolve. Employees have returned to work, but please note that our offices will not be open to the public until further notice. Drop boxes are available between the doors of the following entrances: Administration Building main entrance, Finance department, Health Centre, Education Office and Natural Resources. Membership services (status cards and registrations) are available curbside. Please call 705-753-2922 to make an appointment in advance.
To ensure that NFN continues to provide a healthy and safe environment for our staff and visitors, preventive measures are being implemented using guidelines from public health authorities. These include physical distancing markers and shields in our reception areas, and visitor screening measures when we begin reopening some services to the public. All plans and dates are subject to change as the situation evolves. Please check regularly to access the most up-to-date information.
