NEW CREDIT – The Mississaugas of the New Credit hope to get better access to health services from a relationship protocol signed with Cancer Care Ontario, says Chief Stacey LaForme.

“I see this as an opportunity to build a relationship with an organization that can help our people in delivering services we don’t have much access to right now,” LaForme said in an interview this week.

Michael Sherar, president and CEO of Cancer Care Ontario, said in a prepared statement that formalizing a partnership with New Credit marks “an important milestone” in working together to reduce the burden of cancer.
