NCC: Eastern Health releases a navigation video for cancer patients

Back in September, Eastern Health released a navigation video for cancer patients called “Beginning Your Cancer Journey, An Introduction to Cancer Services in Newfoundland and Labrador.”

The idea for the video originated at a forum as part of a cancer care initiative called “Journey in the Big Land” that NCC was a part of with other Indigenous groups and health care providers in Labrador, as well as cancer specialists and administrators from Eastern Health and LG Health. The group collaborated to identify ways to enhance cancer care services for the Innu First Nations, Inuit and Southern Inuit people of Labrador.
