Navigating the Canadian Union of Postal Workers Strike

On Friday, November 15, 2024 Canada Post workers went on strike across Canada.
Ininew Patient Services (IPS) is committed to ensuring the postal strike does not negatively affect clients. While Canada Post is on strike, IPS will notify clients of appointments using an automated voicemail message system (a message will be left on your phone’s voicemail).
IPS will also continue to email Notice of Appointments to anyone who has signed the email consent form.
If you haven’t already done so, we encourage you to sign the email consent form to ensure you receive email notifications. You can request a consent form by emailing referralsIPS@kingstonhsc.ca.
The consent forms are also available at:
- WAHA’s NIHB office in Moosonee
- Family Medicine Clinic at Weeneebayko General Hospital in Moose Factory
- Nursing stations in Peawanuck and Kashechewan
- The hospitals in Fort Albany and Attawapiskat
