CALL FOR PAPERS

The National Network for Aboriginal Mental Health Research (NAMHR) announces its 1st annual call for papers for the Drs. Joseph Couture and Gail G. Valaskakis Awards, annual prizes presented to one student in social sciences and one in health sciences, with an interest in and commitment to Aboriginal mental health. Graduate students who are interested in competing for this award should submit an original scholarly paper or research report (unpublished or published in the last year) on a topic in Aboriginal mental health, along with a CV and letter of recommendation from his/her supervisor, to:Kay Berckmans

The deadline for applications is August 15, 2008. The NAMHR will pay partial travel costs for the awardee to present his/her paper at its annual meeting in Montreal, QC on August 28 & 29, 2008.
