Tera is founder and director of the Weaving Wellness Centre, a private clinical and consulting practice specializing in serving Indigenous peoples and communities and those who have experienced trauma. Tera’s professional training includes a pre-doctoral residency at the Psychological Trauma & Women’s Programs at the Centre for Addition and Mental Health. She is a certified psychotherapist with Postpartum Support International, with specialized training in the areas of pregnancy, postpartum & perinatal mental health.

Celebrating Mental Wellbeing in Later Years – connecting from a therapist’s bundle

Hosted by Lynne Castonguay, Clinical Social Worker (Counselling), MSW, RSW, CCAC

Lynne is a MNO citizen and a Registered Social Worker originally from Iroquois Falls, living in Timmins. She holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Wilfred Laurier University through the Indigenous Field of Study Program. Certified Addiction Counsellor and Certified EMDR practitioner, she specializes in crisis and trauma interventions including those affected by colonization with particular care for those affected by the impacts of residential schools.

Additionally, to add to MNO’s bundle of current Mental Health and Addictions resources being offered, we will shortly be introducing a series of free online Mindfulness workshops for children, teens and adults – open to the community to help us all cope with the stress.  Recognizing and talking about your stress, your emotions, helps in managing them. Stay tuned!
