The NAN Health Summit will be held January 22-24, 2019 at the Best Western Plus Nor’Wester Hotel & Conference Centre, 2080 Hwy 61, Thunder Bay, Ontario.
This meeting will bring together Community Health Directors, Community Health Workers, Tribal Council Health Directors, Health Authority representatives and the NAN Health Transformation Team. The theme of this years NAN Health Summit is Building Upon Our Strengths. Participants can expect to attend keynotes, plenaries and breakout sessions focused on the following goals:
Confiration & Registration
Delegates are asked to complete the attached registration form to confirm their attendance and forward to the attention of Leona Kakepetum, Project Assistant by email [email protected] or by fax (807)623-7730.
Travel & Accomdations
NAN will cover costs for two community representatives from each NAN First Nation (Community Health Director, Community Health Worker or designate), and one Tribal Council Health Director or designate, and one representative from each Health Authority. Travel days are Monday, January 21, 2019 and Friday, January 25, 2019. Air travel will be booked by NAN staff or for the use of a personal vehicle; mileage will be covered and based on the NAN rate. As required by NAN Chiefs Finance Committee, the most economical arrangements will be made to keep the overall costs to a minimum. Accommodations for delegates will be booked by NAN Staff.
