Press Release
Thursday, Sept 3 | 7:30-8:30PM EDT
In these unprecedented times children and parents may be feeling increasingly frustrated, worried and disconnected as the COVID-19 pandemic lingers. This stress is heightened with the prospect of returning to school. Although many youth are eager to return to the classroom, there may still be anxieties about what school will be like. The Métis Nation of Ontario (MNO) has invited Dr. David Tranter, a Professor in the Faculty of Social Work at Lakehead University, to guide a virtual discussion on strategies to promote child, youth and parental well-being, during the COVID-19 pandemic. We hope to see you there!
The MNO invites all MNO Citizens to attend the webinar as well as citizens of our Tri-Council sister Métis Governments — the Métis Nation of Alberta (MNA) and Métis Nation – Saskatchewan (MN-S).
