Fisher River Cree Nation has been working with the Freshwater Fish Marketing Corp. to rescue fish that cannot be sent to international markets because of COVID-19. Flavina distributed fish directly to First Nation communities in August, with help from partners they now will be making fish available to urban, off-reserve First Nations across MB.

  • Packages of filleted pickerel, whitefish, and pike.
  • Only 1 household per vehicle. Each vehicle can pick up for additional households to assist those who may need to isolate or do not have a vehicle.
  • Must come in a vehicle and stay in your vehicle.
  • Due to the limited quantity we may run out quicker than expected.

Health and safety protocols will be followed: wear masks, stand 6 feet apart, hand sanitize. Stay home if you should be isolating.

If you do not have access to a vehicle please contact MKO @ (204) 677-1600 to schedule a delivery if there is leftover fish at the end of the day.
