Miscellaneous news – First Nations of Quebec and Labrador Health and Social Services Commission

The Indigenous Youth Working Group on Vaccine Uptake have developed the My Vaxx Journey youth-led campaign to encourage vaccine confidence among Indigenous Youth in Canada, while honouring the voices of youth through the sharing of video testimonials about their own vaccine journeys. December 9, 2021 marked the soft launch of the campaign with all social media accounts and campaign landing page myvaxxjourney.ca both live. The My Vaxx Journey KICKS COVID! video contest kicks off in early January 2022! Indigenous Youth across Canada will be invited to share their voices and vaccination stories about their personal experiences before, during, and after vaccination.

Reminder: Tools to Decolonize Health Care in Quebec

The Quebec Indigenous Nursing Research Chair and the Regroupement des Centres d’Amitié Autochtones du Québec will be co-hosting an online forum on “Tools to Decolonize Health Care in Quebec”, which will be held on February 17, 2022 from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Zoom.
