Minister Ambrose announces new appointments and reappointments to the Governing Council of the Canadian Institutes of Health Research

The Honourable Rona Ambrose, Minister of Health, today announced the appointments of Chris Power, Amy Ornstein and Terry-Lynn Young, and the reappointments of Nadine Caron and Maura Davies to the Governing Council of the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) each for three-year terms.
Chris Power is the President and CEO of the Capital District Health Authority in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
Amy Ornstein is a pediatrician and Head of General Pediatric Medicine at IWK Health Centre in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
Terry-Lynn Young is an associate professor in the Faculty of Medicine at Memorial University in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador.
Nadine Caron is a general and endocrine surgeon and assistant professor at the University of British Columbia, Northern Medical Program, in Prince George, British Columbia.
Maura Davies is President and Chief Executive Officer of the Saskatoon Health Region in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
