Media Advisory – MP Paul Lefebvre to make an announcement about Indigenous Peoples’ health

OTTAWA, Feb. 24, 2017  – Mr. Paul Lefebvre, Member of Parliament for Sudbury, on behalf of the Honourable Jane Philpott, Minister of Health, will make an important announcement in support of Indigenous Peoples’ health.

Media are invited to join MP Lefebvre for a tour following the announcement. The tour will show how researchers at Health Sciences North Research Institute are using their expertise to assist aging people in First Nations, Inuit and Métis communities. Media will be allowed to take photos and video during the tour.
