Squamish Nation Territory / North Vancouver – Media are invited to join Indigenous and provincial health and service providers as they announce the launch of new strategy to help improve cancer care and supports for Indigenous peoples across British Columbia.
The event will be opened following the traditional protocols of Squamish Nation. Photographs and video will be permitted. Time for questions will follow discussion of the strategy. Representatives from BC Cancer, First Nations Health Authority, BC Association of Friendship Centres, Métis Nation BC and other stakeholders will be available for interviews.
