Media Advisory – Health Council of Canada to release progress report on health care renewal in Canada

Toronto, May 28, 2012 –

What: Federal, provincial and territorial governments continue to make efforts to reform our health system. The Health Council of Canada reports on the progress they have made. Council Chair, Dr. Jack Kitts, will reveal Canada’s current status on home and community care, health human resources, telehealth, access to care in the North, and health indicators.

Progress Report 2012: Health care renewal in Canada, the Health Council of Canada’s newest report coming June 4, 2012 will inform Canadians of what governments are doing to fulfill the commitments made, and what results have been achieved to date.
