Media Advisory – Chiefs of Ontario to Host 2nd Annual First Nations Community Wellness Conference

(Toronto, ON – August 14, 2025) The Chiefs of Ontario invite media to attend a special media event during the 2nd Annual First Nations Community Wellness Conference, taking place August 19-21, 2025, at the Fairmont Royal York in Toronto, Ontario.
The media event will be held on Wednesday, August 20th at 11:15 a.m. EST in the Toronto Room and will feature Ontario Regional Chief Abram Benedict alongside First Nations Leadership from across the region.
Speakers will share insights into advancing community wellness and approaches to health, social services, culture, and community development. Following their remarks, First Nations Leadership will be available to answer questions from the media.
Members of the media are cordially invited to attend as follows:
