MCK: Pfizer-BioNTech Vaccine to be made available to community members aged 16-17

(Kahnawake – 1, Onerahtókha/April 2021) The Kateri Memorial Hospital Centre (KMHC) is pleased to announce that it has confirmed a shipment of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine. This shipment will be delivered to the community in the next couple of weeks and is earmarked for community members aged 16 and 17.

“We are currently working out the logistics and will release more information shortly,” said Lisa Westaway, Executive Director of the KMHC. “We are expecting to have this age group vaccinated by the week of April 11th.”

Additionally, If you have any questions, concerns, or apprehensions regarding the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine or any questions about vaccination in general, you can call the KMHC and speak with a nurse for information at 450-638-3930 ext. 2213, from 9am to 6pm.
