The Manitoba government is set to give an update on Monday afternoon regarding the province’s COVID-19 cases, as well as the vaccine.
Dr. Brent Roussin, chief provincial public health officer, Dr. Joss Reimer, medical lead for the Vaccine Implementation Task Force, and Dr. Marcia Anderson, public health lead for the First Nations Pandemic Response Coordination Team, will be speaking at a virtual news conference at 12:30 p.m. CTV News Winnipeg will live-stream the event.
On Friday – the last time Manitoba updated its COVID-19 numbers – there were 88 new cases of COVID-19. This brought the total number of active cases to 629, and the number of cases since the start of the pandemic to 59, 612.
