Lloydminster gets naloxone training – Lloydminster Meridian Booster

The free training program was offered by the Métis Nation of Alberta on Monday, as people were encouraged to drop by to learn about opioid awareness.

Haily Villeneuve was one participant of the training program and she took it because she said she does know people who use and know of places in downtown Lloydminster where people use.

“I think it is something that everyone should know,” she said. “I also think that naloxone should be normalized, I see people on social media complaining … and even though I do not condone drug use, some people don’t really understand why some people use, kind of arrogant to drug users.”
