Lax Kw’alaams Band: Community Notice from the Mayor and Council

The elected council takes seriously the problem of drugs an alcohol in the community. We understand the problems that stem from the abuse of these substances.

We also want you to understand that we support the R.C.M.P in their efforts to deal with those that sell drugs and alcohol in the community. We want to begin to build a healthy community and hope others support us in the effort to do so.

We also want those that are selling drugs and alcohol to understand the harm that is caused by this practice, to stop immediately.
