Kidney transplant recipient from northern Manitoba First Nation named hospital’s ‘champion child’ – CBC

Janessa Dumas Colomb from Pukatawagan, who had a kidney transplant when she was 12, is the Winnipeg Children’s Hospital first Champion Child from a northern Manitoba First Nation. Now 15, she’ll help raise funds for other children needing kidney care.
