Joint National Social Work Conference 2014

Borders without Boundaries: Navigating the New Frontiers of Social Work

The Canadian Association of Social Workers (CASW) and the Canadian Association for Social Work Education (CASWE-ACFTS) are pleased to announce a Joint National Social Work Conference, scheduled for May 26 to 29, 2014 at Brock University in St Catherines, Ontario.  This conference will be held in conjunction with the Congress of the Humanities and Social Sciences.

The theme of the Joint National Social Work Conference 2014 is Borders without Boundaries: Navigating the New Frontiers of Social Work. Click here to access a downloadable poster for your office or school.

For those unfamiliar with Congress of the Humanities and Social Sciences, it is organized by the Federation for the Humanities and Social Sciences, bringing together academics, researchers, policy-makers, and practitioners to share findings, refine ideas, and build partnerships that will help shape the Canada of tomorrow.

By attending the Joint National Social Work Conference, you’ll have a passport to participate in many activities of the Congress, which is a unique world-class showcase of scholarly and practice excellence, creativity, and leadership. Think Ted Talks and you’re on the right track.

Registration for the Joint National Social Work Conference 2014 and Congress 2014 will open in January 2014. Visit www.caswe-acfts.ca for more information.
