Increased Risk of Heat-Related Illness as Weather Warms Up in BC – FNHA

Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) is predicting temperature increases in most parts of BC that may increase the risk of heat-related illness.

While ECCC has not yet issued a “Heat Warning” (issued when temperatures reach 30 Celsius or greater), a ridge of high pressure is building over BC this week with hot weather expected to peak by Sunday and lasting into the middle of next week.
