Hospital Clinic and Rapid Access Clinic moving into new section of hospital

December 10, 2012

The medical and Rapid Access clinics currently in the old section of Qikiqtani General Hospital in Iqaluit are moving to the new side of the hospital.

The QGH medical clinic will be closed this Thursday and Friday, and will re-open on Monday, December 17 on the second floor of the new side of the hospital.

The Rapid Access Clinic will be closed this Wednesday, but will re-open in the Emergency Department starting Thursday, December 13.

Patients can make clinic appointments and bookings on the new side of the hospital, next to the emergency registration desks near the main entrance. All phone numbers for appointments and registration remain the same until further notice.

The regular appointment medical clinic takes over the space where Public Health/Family Practice had been located until their move to the Baron building, # 1091, earlier this week.
