Homeward Trust Edmonton Special Announcement: Expression of Interest

Homeward Trust Edmonton (HTE) is a proud partner with the three orders of government and is the community based entity in Edmonton for the Government of Canada’s Homelessness Partnering Strategy (HPS).

HTE is the community entity responsible for administering funding on behalf of the Government of Canada’s Homeless Partnering Strategy. HTE is accepting Expressions of Interest (EOI) for capital projects, for which an estimated $5,000,000 is available for funding this fiscal year, of which $700,000 is available under a dedicated Aboriginal Homelessness stream.This EOI, which will be accompanied by the subsequent process of evaluating full proposals, is intended to determine the allocation of funds remaining for 2011/12 and inform priorities for the next round of funding.

The application provides further details how to qualify for this funding. It should be noted that Aboriginal organizations are not limited to this funding stream and are encouraged to submit proposals to be considered for both HPS funding opportunities.

Please review the Expression of Interest outline and those interested in a submission are asked to review the application and submit to Homeward Trust by August 24, 2012.
