Every year, the Aboriginal Healthy Living Activities engages thousands of participants across 3 program streams: the Aboriginal Run Walk, the Honour Your Health Challenge and FitNation. Over the past 6 months, more than 200 healthy living leaders have led a wide range of programs in countless environments – from beachside fitness classes, to cook-outs on top of a mountain, these leaders really have taken their participants high and low.
We wrapped up the 2015/16 Aboriginal Healthy Living Activities year with a fun photo contest for the Honour Your Health Challenge and a FitNation “selfie” contest. See the winners below!
And finally, with bonus points for creativity, FitNation Leader, Daniel Young-Mercer captured a moving “selfie” as his participants worked on their Efficient Walking!
