Healing Our Spirit Worldwide (HOSW), September 3-10, 2010

The National Native Addictions Partnership Foundation Inc., (NNAPF) is pleased to announce that the First Nations and Inuit Health of Canada (FNIH) will provide funding to the Partnership Foundation with respect to Healing Our Spirit Worldwide (HOSW), Sixth Gathering, September 3-10, 2010 in Honolulu, Hawaii.HOSW is an international indigenous gathering that focuses on best practices, ongoing issues, and celebrates success in areas such as health, healing, and mental health and addictions. All participants are encouraged and should visit the following website for more information www.hosw.com pertaining to registration, and travel under “Updates” located on this site.

Beginning April 1, 2010 in order to facilitate registration for eligible Canadian Participants please visit www.hosw.ca for more information. Specific criteria are listed below in order to receive travel support for HOSW:

• Only those participants with accepted abstracts/workshops/performers from Canada;
• Funding available per abstract will depend upon the final number of people who accept their invitation to present/perform at HOSW 2010;
• Financial support for participation at HOSW will be offered per abstract and where there is more than one abstract in your name, the second presenter may receive funding;
• Funding will not be provided to one person more than once;
• Funding will not be provided for each person involved with the abstract.

Please note that financial assistance for travel will not be confirmed for eligible Canadian Participants until you confirm your participation with HOSW.
