Health celebrates Canadian Patient Safety Week 2017

Iqaluit Health Services invites the public to recognize Canadian Patient Safety Week 2017.

There will be events, festivities, and free giveaways for the public at Qikiqtani General Hospital on Monday, October 30t, to Friday, November 3 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. and 3 to 4 p.m.

Iqaluit Public Health will also be holding events on Friday from 10:30-11:30 a.m., at building 1091.

Dennis Stavrou, Executive Director of Iqaluit Health Services, will present “How do we learn? How do we improve?”, an overview of the past, current and future patient safety initiatives on Friday November 3, at 3 p.m. in the cafeteria at Qikiqtani General Hospital.

The Department of Health looks forward to celebrating Canadian Patient Safety Week with all patients, staff, and community members.
