Four NWT schools to have water tested for lead this week – Cabin Radio

The NWT government is planning to continue its territory-wide lead tests in schools at four locations this coming week.
The GNWT is testing more than 40 schools’ water after some Yellowknife schools were found last year to have lead above Health Canada guideline limits in water coming from some fixtures.
According to the territorial government’s website, two schools in Fort Smith, one in Yellowknife and one in Behchokǫ̀ will be tested in the week ahead.
