CYPRESS COUNTY, AB – In just two days, 11-year-old Rava Bowles went from being scared of horses, to smiling and fearlessly riding.
“I feel like it’s something that I accomplished cause on Tuesday, two days ago, I was so scared to even walk up and go around it but now I’m really confident in myself and walk around it all the time and ride it,” Rava said.
Building confidence was the plan all along.
The Miywasin Friendship Centre teamed up with the Dunmore Equestrian Centre to provide an equine therapy program for its youth and elders.
