Region of Waterloo approves licensing agreement for an Indigenous healing lodge at Ken Seiling Waterloo Region Museum and Doon Heritage Village

WATERLOO REGION — A healing lodge for Indigenous people will soon be located at the Ken Seiling Waterloo Region Museum and Doon Heritage Village.

Regional councillors voted in favour of a licensing agreement Wednesday allowing Crow Shield Lodge to operate “a land-based healing, teaching, ceremonial, land stewardship and education site” at the museum on Huron Road in Kitchener.
