This virtual forum is an opportunity to share and celebrate community resilience, lessons learned and on-going challenges, as well as to talk about what is needed to build a new path forward for First Nations.

Forum Goals

  • To share community-led responses to the pandemic
  • To highlight the strengths of partnerships
  • To identify opportunities for working with and supporting populations who were most impacted by the pandemic
  • To talk about what ‘building back better’ means for First Nations
  • Hear from Indigenous Services Canada on their pandemic response and recovery work

Who should attend?

  • First Nations Health, Social, Economic Development and Education Directors and Technicians
  • First Nations Emergency and Pandemic Response Coordinators and Directors
  • Health, Social and Education professionals, providers and experts
  • Federal, provincial and territorial government officials
