COVID-19 Restrictions in BC Eased But Masks, Vaccine Cards Essential – FNHA

BC is lifting many of the COVID-19 restrictions that have been in place for months, so long as people continue to wear masks and prove they are fully vaccinated.​​

At midnight on Wednesday, Feb. 16, many of the restrictions will be lifted for gatherings, events and restaurants.

What’s changing?

  • Indoor personal gatherings return to normal
  • Indoor and outdoor organized gatherings return to full capacity, with dancing allowed – Masks and a BC Vaccine Card mandatory
  • Indoor seated events return to full capacity – Masks and a BC Vaccine Card mandatory
  • Fitness centres, adult sports, dance, swimming return to full capacity – Masks and a BC Vaccine Card mandatory
  • Restaurants, bars and nightclubs return to full capacity with no table limits, and mingling and dancing is allowed – Masks and a BC Vaccine Card mandatory
