Position Summary
Are you an IT professional with experience in healthcare informatics? Do you have experience using clinical systems such as Meditech? Interior Health is currently looking for a Clinical Informatics Analyst II to join our Mobility Support team located in Kelowna (Reids).In accordance with established vision and values of the organization, the Clinical Informatics Analyst II evaluates, plans, implements, tests, maintains and supports information systems which support clinical and health information needs throughout Interior Health in accordance with established policies, procedures and standards. This position provides consultative support and training to regional users of software applications.

Working alongside our Senior Mobility Analyst and the Mobility and Conferencing Services team this position provides enterprise level support for Interior Health deployed mobile and smart devices.

This an exciting and expanding role where our analyst will be challenged by a dynamic environment working with mobile technology to deliver our clients mobile communication and data access needs.

As a member of the mobility team other duties, as appropriate, may be assigned such as assisting with the Vocera system, WiFi network, and Video Conferencing system.

Key responsibilities include:
• Procurement of mobile devices.
• Completing needs assessment and advising clients in device and service plan selection.
• Provide technical support for mobile applications.
• Deliver training for mobile devices and applications.
• Troubleshoot hardware and service problems and facilitates carrier support calls as necessary.
• Manage Mobile Device Management infrastructure and applications.

The preferred applicant will possess:
• Broad skills in mobile wireless technologies Ability to understand and resolve complex technical issues.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a strong desire to achieve high customer satisfaction.
• Demonstrate lateral thinking to deliver enterprise solutions while providing excellent customer service.

Education, Training and Experience:
• Graduation from a recognized degree or diploma program in Computer Science
• Two years recent, related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.Skills and Abilities:
• Ability to organize work.
• Ability to deal with others effectively.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to operate related equipment.
• Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
