CHIPPEWAS OF THE THAMES FIRST NATION – This First Nations southwest of Delaware shut down Antler River elementary school and administrative offices Tuesday after officials suspected they had found black mould. But the buildings will re-open Wednesday after a probe found nothing of concern, officials said.
The school received the all-clear after a joint investigation by Health Canada and local officials, said education director Tracy Maracle.
School officials had been prepared to shut down the school and its education offices for the entire week, if necessary, according to an internal memo.
