CAOT Election Kit – Coming Soon!

CAOT Environmental Scan – The CAOT Board recently commissioned a consultant to identify issues that can influence or may influence occupational therapists. The resulting document identifies several issues to keep in mind this coming election.

CAOT is a member of Research Canada, a not-for-profit, voluntary organization that is a strong national voice for health research advocacy in Canada. Research Canada has put together a primer on issues related to health research funding in the next election, as well as information from Statistics Canada on funding over the past ten years.

CAOT is also a member of the Canadian Coalition for Public Health in the 21st Century (CCPH21), a network of non-profit organizations, professional organizations, health charities and academic researchers whose goal is to advocate for public policy to ensure adequate public health functions to protect and promote health and prevent disease and injury.
