Call for Review Officer for the Dental Profession Act

The Department of Health is seeking a qualified and motivated dental practitioner to serve as the Review Officer under Section 35 of the Dental Profession Act of Nunavut. This position involves a contractual appointment with a negotiated retainer fee and professional service fees.
Applicants must be licensed under the Dental Profession Act or be eligible to obtain licensure in Nunavut prior to appointment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Receiving and reviewing complaints made against dental practitioners in Nunavut.
- Deciding whether to dismiss a complaint or initiate an investigation through an appointed investigator.
- Reviewing investigation findings and provide recommendations based on the final report.
