Mayor Sally Hagman thanks town’s Public Works
Blind River Mayor Sally Hagman took the time during her remarks to the public and council at Monday evening’s virtual council meeting to recognize the work done by the town’s Public Works employees.
Her remarks were made to coincide with National Public Works week being held this week from May 16 to 22.
“This crew of dedicated individuals get up in the wee hours of the morning and work evenings and weekends when required. They are the backbone of our community ensuring that we all live work and play in a safe environment,” mayor Hagman said.
“On behalf of Blind River council, I would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to you Mark Bender as Director of Public Works and to your team.”
