Better Healthcare for Albertans – A Report by the Office of the Auditor General of Alberta to be Released Thursday, May 25

MAY 23, 2017 — The Auditor General of Alberta is releasing a report on Thursday, May 25 on changes needed to improve the system and quality of healthcare for Albertans.

Better Healthcare for Albertans: A Report by the Office of the Auditor General of Alberta offers an analysis of root causes behind lack of progress towards the effective integration of health care in Alberta. It also identifies opportunities based on models from other jurisdictions to take Alberta’s entire health system to a higher level in a quantum leap rather than through incremental change and reorganization.
