Applications Open for Accessible Taxi and Busing Grants

The Provincial Government is modernizing and expanding the Accessible Taxi Grant Program to provide more options for people who require accessible transportation. The program will be renamed the Accessible Taxi and Busing Grant.

Eligibility is being expanded so that more people and organizations can apply. This now includes individuals, businesses, non-profit organizations, Indigenous governments and organizations, municipalities, and local service districts. These changes are meant to encourage more people, not just taxi operators, to apply for support and to help improve accessible transportation within and between communities across the province.

Applications are open until March 15, 2026. To apply for the Accessible Taxi and Busing Grant and for more information, please visit our website.
