On December 11th, our men’s shelter at 14 Vaughan Road received a visited by Angels In The Night who donate each year to
our shelter…bringing gifts of pillows, blankets, socks, gloves, hats, and hygienic items. This year Mr. Jim Rawson (INVIS) coordinated their visit to Na-Me-Res. Their generousity puts smiles on their faces and much appreciation especially on Christmas morning when our residents gather around the tree and open their special Christmas bags. Words cannot express the joy and the thankfulness that our many residents feel during this time of year.
In acknowledgement of their kindess we presented Jim Rawson/INVIS with a certificate of appreciation along with a
special gift of a print by Gordon Fiddler depicting the “Spirit of the Warrior”. We also had coffee and pastries on hand for the many Angels who volunteered their time to deliver these special gifts.
Chi Miigwetch (thank you in ojibway) to Jim Rawon, INVIS and to all the “Angels In The Night”…..Na-Me-Res (Native Men’s Residence).
