Contest deadline extended to March 4, 2011

AIDS Calgary Awareness Association invites submissions for our Aboriginal Artwork Contest. We are looking for an image to be used in our work building partnerships and strengthening the response to HIV/AIDS in urban, rural, and on-reserve Aboriginal communities.With a theme of “strong voices working together in the face of HIV”, we hope to see submissions which represent the strength and diversity of Alberta’s Aboriginal people, as we work in partnership towards HIV prevention, education and support of Aboriginal persons living with HIV/AIDS.

The contest winner will be awarded a $350 cash honorarium.

Digital and traditional medias accepted. This contest is open to all Alberta residents who identify as Aboriginal.

The artwork will be used for marketing and promotional materials distributed in Aboriginal communities across Alberta.
