Manufacturing sales increased 3.6% in February, driven largely by higher sales of transportation equipment, machinery, and primary metals. Meanwhile, sales in the chemical subsector posted the largest decline.

Wholesale sales (excluding petroleum, petroleum products, and other hydrocarbons and excluding oilseed and grain) rose 2.0% in February.
