Water crisis in a remote First Nation forces father to melt ice so he can bathe his children – CBC Player

Adrian Sackaney doesn’t trust the water from a nearby treatment plant in Kashechewan First Nation. Since the plant in the fly-in community, located along northern Ontario’s James Bay coast, failed, he’s been travelling to the Albany River so he can retrieve large pieces of ice. He melts that ice so his children have have a bath.
