Qalipu First Nation Cultural Wellness team launches Community Care Drive today at 3 locations – 100.1 BayFM

The event was slated to take place on Monday but was postponed to today due to weather.
There’s a Community Care Drive taking place at three different west coast locations through Qalipu First Nations. Keiley Sullivan is a Cultural Wellness Facilitator. She says it’s a way of bringing community members together in order to give back and they’re looking for donations of food and clothing. Sullivan says there are three drop off locations in Corner Brook, Stephenville, and Grand Falls-Windsor. She says there is a massive need for essential items like food, diapers, formula, and toiletries, it can help take thew pressure of some people this holiday season, a time when many are stretched.
