Peterborough Community Health Centre officially opens its Peterborough Square location – PTBO Today

The Peterborough Community Health Centre officially opens today (October 7) at its Peterborough Square location near the Simcoe Street mall entrance.
From 1:15 to 6:30 p.m., the community is invited to check out the new facility where staff are focused on the provision of care for those without a primary care provided. That includes those who have traditionally faced barriers to primary care, such as those experiencing homelessness, Indigenous people and newcomers to Canada.
Centre executive director Ashley Safar says much has gone on since the spring in anticipation of hitting the ground running.
