IRC support for Elders

We are pleased to announce that Inuvialuit Regional Corporation (IRC) will once again be making a financial contribution to all Inuvialuit 60 years of age and over.

Elders, facing significant limits on their activities during the COVID-19 pandemic, can use this extra financial support to access the supplies needed to stay safe and secure while they isolate and travel out on the land.

Elders do not need to apply for this support.  All Inuvialuit Elders, wherever they reside, will automatically receive this financial support from IRC.

IRC is committed to ensuring the continued well-being of our Elders and communities.  As such, an additional Elder’s payment is also planned in the near future.

We further commend all Inuvialuit for our shared commitment to the health of our communities, and the ISR as a whole, during this time.
